Business Delegations · Tech Study Tours · 5–30 Delegates

China Is the Future City.
Come See It at Work.

Private business delegations and study tours inside the companies, universities and innovation districts building that future — electric-vehicle and battery plants, AI and robotics headquarters, research labs and the innovation zones where policy becomes industry. Built around your delegation, hosted properly, and run end to end in English.

Why Delegations Come

The Future, on a Weekday

It is possible that your country is already falling behind — not in the headlines, but in the daily details. The city foreign executives imagine when they picture the future already exists; it just runs on weekdays, at industrial scale, in places like Shenzhen. A delegation programme puts you inside it.

Electric Everything

Electric vehicles and the batteries behind them, produced in gigafactories at a scale that resets what visitors think is possible. Stand on the floor where the world's EV supply chain is actually built — then meet the people building it.

Robots & Drones, Already Working

Humanoid and service robots, delivery drones and automated logistics are not demo-day theatre here — they are in daily service. Delegations see the products, the production lines and the business models behind them, with hosts who can talk partnership.

Robotics · Drones · Automation · AI

A Scan-and-Go Society

A cashless, high-speed-rail, scan-and-go society: pay, ride, order, deliver — everything from a phone, at a tempo most visiting executives have never lived at. Experiencing it for a week changes how a leadership team thinks about its own market.

The Programme

What a Delegation
Programme Includes

Every programme is designed around one delegation: its sector, its seniority, and the conversations it wants to have. These are the building blocks we assemble for you.

  • Hosted Company Visits
Formally requested visits to leading technology companies and manufacturers in your sector — production lines and showrooms, arranged around a clear business purpose. A seated exchange with the host's team is a separate request — hosts review each delegation company's profile before confirming one.
  • A Research University
A session at a research university — how research is commercialised, how university–industry partnerships are structured, and what the talent pipeline behind the tech sector looks like from inside.
  • Innovation Zones & the Official Track
A hosted visit to an innovation zone such as Shenzhen Bay Technology Eco Park — foreign-investment policy, partnership routes and how the ecosystem is deliberately built, seen on the ground. Government bodies themselves — a Shenzhen bureau, the Qianhai Authority — sit on a separate track: meetings are requested through your delegation's own official application. We prepare the supporting documents and brief you on the process; the application is filed in your delegation's name.
  • Industry-Association Roundtable
A roundtable with a sector industry association, requested through your delegation's own official channels — we prepare the supporting documents and the delegation profile the association reviews. In practice this is often where concrete partnership conversations happen, so we plan for it alongside the headline visits, not instead of them.
  • English-Speaking Programme Coordinator
One coordinator with your delegation throughout — managing the schedule, the hosts, the meeting rooms and the hundred small decisions a programme day contains, all in English.
  • Hotels, Vehicle & Transfers
4-star hotels with breakfast, a private vehicle with driver throughout, and airport pickup and drop-off. Delegates focus on the programme; the logistics run underneath it.
  • Visa Invitation Documentation
The invitation documentation your delegates need for their visa applications, matched to the confirmed programme — plus a clear flag of the right entry route for each passport in the group.
  • Formal Visit Requests, Handled
We prepare and submit the formal visit requests — delegation profile, business purpose, delegate list — and follow each one through to the host's decision, so your team never chases a reply.

One honest note: visits are confirmed by the hosts, not by us. Companies, universities and authorities decide who they receive, and they need 10–15 business days to consider a formal request. We submit as soon as your delegation profile is ready, and for any host that cannot confirm, we substitute an equivalent organisation — so the programme stays full either way.

Sample Programme

Five Days in Shenzhen

An outline, not a template — your programme is built from your sector and your delegation list. This is the shape a technology-focused week typically takes.

D1

Arrival & Briefing

Airport pickup, hotel check-in, and an evening briefing on Shenzhen's innovation landscape and the week ahead.

D2

Manufacturing Day

Electric vehicles and batteries in the morning; medical-device manufacturing in the afternoon. Partnership and supply-chain conversations with both hosts.

D3

AI & Robotics Day

Internet platforms and artificial intelligence before lunch; humanoid and service robotics in the afternoon.

D4

Government & Ecosystem

An innovation-zone visit we arrange (Shenzhen Bay Technology Eco Park), the university session, and the official-track items — the government and association meetings your delegation has applied for through its own channels.

D5

Flagship Visit & Wrap-Up

A final flagship company visit, a structured wrap-up session on partnership next steps, then airport transfer and departure.

Organisations we approach for a Shenzhen technology programme typically include BYD (headquarters and Sky Shuttle), SenseTime, BGI Genomics, Han's Laser, OPPO in Dongguan and Honor on the company side; Shenzhen University, SUSTech, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen or Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen as the university; and the Shenzhen Bay Technology Eco Park as the innovation-zone visit. Two honest exceptions: Huawei and Tencent do not accept group visits, so the programme is built around hosts who do receive delegations — and DJI takes part as a flagship-store visit, not a headquarters tour. Government bodies and industry associations, such as the Qianhai Authority, are met through your delegation's own official application: we prepare the supporting documents and brief you on the process, but the application is filed in your name. Seated exchanges are a separate request from a visit — each host reviews your delegation companies' profiles before confirming one. Every visit is subject to the host's confirmation — see the note above.

Operating Models

Two Ways to Run It

The ground programme is ours either way. What changes between the two models is who carries the visit coordination — and therefore who carries the risk on approvals.

Model A — Full Service

One contract with ChinaWithEase, and we coordinate the visits end to end ourselves: preparing and submitting the formal requests, following them through to approval, confirming hosts, and managing the visit schedule day by day. The honest trade-off: it costs more, because the coordination work — and the chasing, re-planning and substituting when a host says no — sits with us. For most first-time delegations, this is the right structure.

One Contract · We Carry the Coordination

Model B — Ground Programme + Local Partner

We run the ground programme — hotels, vehicle, coordinator, transfers, day-to-day management — while a local partner in the destination city coordinates the visits and follows the requests through. The honest trade-off: it costs less, but visit approvals sit with the partner and the hosts rather than with us, so we cannot steer that side of the programme as tightly. It suits delegations that already have relationships on the ground.

Lower Cost · Approvals Sit With the Partner

Anything added beyond the agreed programme — extra visits, executive-level meetings, additional days — is quoted separately as it is confirmed.

Who It's For

Built for Delegations
With a Purpose

These are working visits, not sightseeing with a business label. The programmes work best for groups arriving with questions — about supply chains, competitors, partners or policy.

Manufacturers & Industry Groups

Owners and executives who want to see how Chinese manufacturers in their sector actually operate — capacity, automation, quality systems — and to open supplier or partnership conversations in person.

Supply Chain · Partnership · Benchmarking

Trade Associations & Chambers

Member delegations and trade missions that need a credible, well-hosted programme: headline companies, an innovation-zone visit, and document support for the government and association meetings members apply for through their own official channels.

Trade Missions · Member Delegations

Universities & Executive Programmes

MBA, EMBA and executive-education cohorts studying innovation where it happens — with a research-university session and company hosts chosen to match the curriculum, not a tourist route.

MBA · EMBA · Executive Education

Investor & Trade-Promotion Delegations

Investors, economic-development agencies and trade-promotion bodies mapping a sector or a city: structured briefings and site visits, plus document support for the authority meetings you apply for in your own name — a programme that turns a market report into first-hand judgement.

Delegation FAQ

Questions Delegations
Always Ask Us

How much lead time does a delegation programme need? +

Allow 3-4 weeks in total. The long pole is host approval: the companies and universities we approach need 10-15 business days to consider a formal visit request. Meetings with government bodies and industry associations run through your delegation's own official application — we prepare the supporting documents — and can take longer. Hotels and vehicles can usually be held quickly; the visit requests are what we submit the moment your delegation profile is ready.

What group sizes do you build programmes for? +

Our delegation programmes are built for 5 to 30 delegates - the size at which hosted company visits, a university session and an innovation-zone visit all stay substantive. Larger groups are possible on request; the format adjusts (parallel tracks, larger venues), and we will tell you honestly where size starts to change what hosts can offer.

Can we meet senior executives at the companies we visit? +

Senior meetings can be requested, and we make the request properly: a formal proposal, your delegation profile and a clear business purpose, submitted to the host's government-affairs or business-development team. Whether a senior manager meets the group is always the host's decision and is never guaranteed. Executive-level meeting arrangements carry additional coordination, quoted separately as they are confirmed.

What language is the programme run in? +

English. Your programme coordinator works in English throughout, and visit requests specify English-speaking hosts or interpretation. Professional interpreters for other languages can be added to the programme on request.

Can you help with visas? +

Yes. We provide the invitation documentation your delegates need for their visa applications, matched to the confirmed programme. Some passports can enter China visa-free for business under current rules; others need a business (M) visa. The final visa decision rests with the Chinese embassy or consulate, so applications should start early - we will flag the right route for each passport in your group.

How much does a delegation programme cost? +

There is no public price, and deliberately so: every programme is built around your delegation - its size, the hosts approached, the hotels and vehicles held, and the level of meeting coordination involved. After a short brief (dates, group size, sectors, and the organisations you most want to see), we return a proposal with a firm quotation. These are premium, fully serviced programmes, and they are priced accordingly.

Tell us your dates, your group size and the sectors you want to see. We will come back with a programme outline and, once the shape is agreed, a firm quotation. The one step that cannot be rushed is host approval — starting early is the whole game.
