Who this is for

Built for travelers who can't spare their passport

Americans need a visa for a normal round trip to China, and that means handing over your passport for days. The 240-hour transit avoids it entirely, and we build the whole trip around it.

Airline & aviation staff

You need your passport for work. We plan around your benefits and make sure your onward ticket qualifies.

Frequent business travelers

No consulate appointment, no gap in travel. Add factory or company visits if you like.

Couples 60+

Comfortable pace, cable cars, cars waiting at exits, and afternoons to rest.

First time in China

Language, apps, payments and tickets all handled, with someone to call any hour.

All private · nothing shared

Questions

Frequently asked

Do Americans need a visa for this trip?

No, as long as you arrive from one country and leave mainland China for a different third country or region (Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and others) within 240 hours, with a confirmed onward ticket. A round trip USA–China–USA needs a visa.

We can't send our passports away. Is that a problem?

Not on this trip. The 240-hour transit has no application; permission is granted at the airport on arrival, and your passport stays with you. That's why it suits airline employees and frequent business travelers.

Can we land in Shanghai, start in Beijing, and leave from Shanghai?

Yes. Shanghai, Beijing and Shaanxi (Xi'an) are all inside the 24 provinces where 240-hour travelers may travel, and you can exit from any eligible port, including Shanghai Pudong (PVG).

I work for an airline. Can I use a standby ticket out of China?

We recommend against it. Official guidance requires an onward ticket with a confirmed date and seat. Buy a confirmed (ideally refundable) ticket to Hong Kong or Taipei, then use your travel benefits from there. We check this before you book anything else.

What does a private trip with you include?

A private driver for every transfer, an English-speaking guide on sightseeing days, an English interpreter on call 24/7, flights and high-speed trains booked in your names, timed tickets for the Forbidden City, Terracotta Army and museums, hotels chosen for your comfort, and a written 240-hour deadline plan.

Is the pace OK for travelers in their 60s?

Yes, and we design for it: one major sight per half day, cable car at the Great Wall, cars waiting at exits, afternoon rest, and hotels with short walks to the car. Tell us about any mobility needs and we plan around them.

How much does it cost?

Every trip is quoted individually, based on hotel level, train and flight class, and how many guide days you want. Tell us your budget and preferred hotel level, and we'll send a day-by-day plan with a full quote within 24 hours. There is no charge for the plan.

How far ahead should we book?

Ideally 6–8 weeks or more, especially in spring, October and during Chinese holidays, when trains, hotels and timed tickets fill up. Shorter notice is often possible; message us.
