Questions

Student Tour FAQ

What is the minimum group size?+

10 students minimum. Best pricing kicks in at 20+. Groups of 50+ receive the steepest per-student discounts and additional free faculty spots (1 free per 10 students).

How many faculty travel free?+

1 faculty member free per 10 students. 20 students = 2 free faculty. 30 students = 3 free faculty. Additional faculty at discounted rates. Faculty receive single rooms (students share twin/triple).

Can we customize the academic focus?+

Absolutely — that's the point. We build around your learning objectives: Mandarin, history, business, STEM, art, environmental science, or a mix. University campus visits and local student exchanges are available in Beijing, Shanghai, and Xi'an.

How do you handle student safety?+

Comprehensive safety protocol: 24/7 emergency hotline, buddy system, mandatory headcounts, group floor blocking at hotels, private transport only, pre-identified hospitals in each city. A dedicated group coordinator stays with the group at all times in addition to the guide. We share our full safety protocol document with faculty before booking.

Do you help with visas for the whole group?+

Yes — group visa coordination is included. We provide: invitation letters, hotel confirmation documents, group flight itinerary, and a step-by-step checklist for each student. We do not submit applications (students must do this in person or by mail) but ensure every document is correct.

Can we use institutional purchase orders?+

Yes. We accept institutional POs, provide formal invoicing, and can generate budget documentation for grant applications (Title VI, Fulbright-Hays, etc.). Stripe card payments also available. Payment terms negotiable for institutions.

What ages/levels do you serve?+

High school (15+), community college, undergraduate, and graduate. We adjust itinerary pace, free time structure, and academic depth based on student level. High school groups require a higher faculty-to-student ratio (1:8 recommended).
